Schedule Update! Woodlawn Schools will be closed on Thursday, May 21st, using our banked minutes. We will be on our regular schedule on Wednesday, May 20th, and will take all of our semester tests that day. There will still be a make-up day on Friday, May 22nd. WSD will not run buses after Wednesday, May 20th. We hope to see you in Hot Springs Thursday! Go Bears!!!

May 19 - Elementary Awards Grades K-3 at 9:00 am in the Gym, Grades 4-6 at 1:00 pm in the Gym, High School Graduation at 7:00 pm in the Gym
May 20 - Semester Test Begin (High School)
May 21 - Baseball & Softball state championship games in Hot Springs
May 22 - Last Day of School!

Good Luck to our Bears and Lady Bears today in the semifinals of the state tournament!!! Both teams are playing against the Riverside Rebels. Baseball plays @ 12:00 and softball plays @ 2:30. Both games will be at Palestine-Wheatley High School. Let's Go Woodlawn!!!!
We are excited to celebrate the Class of 2026 and are especially happy to have graduation back on the Woodlawn High School campus where it has traditionally been held.
Due to the projected weather forecast, this year’s graduation ceremony will be held in the gym.
Doors will open at 6:15 PM, and the ceremony will begin at 7:00 PM.
To help ensure our graduates have a clear and special entrance, the gym doors will briefly close at 6:55 PM while graduates march in and take their seats. Doors will reopen immediately afterward.
This short pause is simply to allow our graduates to enter without crowd congestion and to give family and friends the opportunity to clearly see and celebrate them as they begin this important milestone moment.
We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and look forward to celebrating our graduates together

Moving from the elementary to the high school is a big change for our 6th grade students. So this Wednesday, our 6th graders were able to learn more about the different clubs and activities that high school has to offer, get some experience opening a lock, and tour the high school with some of our student leaders.
Bears win 9-5! They move on to the Semi-Finals. The Bears will play the winner of Riverside-Bee Branch at 12:00 tomorrow. The game will be at Palestine-Wheatley High School. Go Bears!!!

Attention upcoming Kindergartners!
Woodlawn Elementary School will be hosting a Kinder Camp on Monday, May 18th. Students will be able to meet the Kindergarten teachers, explore the classrooms and tour the school. Parents will drop off students at the Kindergarten classrooms at 9:30am. Pick up will be at 11:30am in the car rider line. You must have your student registered by May 15th to be able to attend the Kinder Camp. We can't wait to meet you! 🐻
