Attention upcoming Kindergartners!

Woodlawn Elementary School will be hosting a Kinder Camp on Monday, May 18th. Students will be able to meet the Kindergarten teachers, explore the classrooms and tour the school. Parents will drop off students at the Kindergarten classrooms at 9:30am. Pick up will be at 11:30am in the car rider line. You must have your student registered by May 15th to be able to attend the Kinder Camp. We can't wait to meet you! 🐻

Yesterday, the Museum of Discovery visited our school through their "Awesome Science" program and wowed our students with fun, hands-on experiments!

Lady Bear Softball will be playing the winner Gurdon/Poyen at 4:00 pm in Gurdon.

Due to power outages, Compass Academy will be closed today also. Woodlawn students who attend Compass need to stay at home today.

SEABEC students. Warren school district is closed today due to a power outage. Students may come to school at their regular scheduled class today.

The annual Southeast Regional Art Educators Exhibition and Competition was held recently at the UAM campus. Over 100 entries competed, with Woodlawn placing in 8 of 13 entries. 3 of those were the first-place winners: Maisyn Berg (K), Effie Scharf (4th), and Kenzee Hunter (9th). Their art will be on display from June 13 to August 22 at the Hillary Rodham Clinton Library in Little Rock. There will be a reception for the 1st-place winners from across the state on June 13 at 1:00 pm.
